​Dr. Melisa is a Ph.D. in Mind Body Medicine with a specialization in integrative psychotherapy. She is the owner of Skyeia Holistic Services and The Willow Tree and Me, an Integrative wellness and private psychotherapy practice located in Maryland. She has extensive experience with women, couples and relationship issues, depression, anxiety & codependency. Dr. Melisa has extensive experience in the healing work of trauma and has been trained in a unique trauma treatment called Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR)

​She has studied with the Center of Mind Body Medicine located in Washington DC and with many master teachers in the mind-body, shamanism, energy work, and trauma informed practices field.

Dr. Melisa has extensive experience in the clinical counseling field and advanced training in Mind body Medicine which allows our work together to to incorporate not only traditional counseling practices but also a mixture of ancient and modern tools to allow you elevate your life and remove the obstacles that stand in your way. ​ ​ ​My focus with our work is to show up, hold space in an “authentic and genuine way”. and journey with you on your path to healing, wellness, and transformation.
